Who We Are & What We Do

認定パームカーネルシェル供給業者

CERTIFIED PALM KERNEL SHELL SUPPLIER

PT ENERGI BIOMASSA BORNEO (PT EBB) is a specialized and integrated supplier of high-quality, sustainable Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) for the global biomass energy market, with a strong focus on serving Japanese power plants.

Established in 2023 as a strategic joint venture between PT Cakrawala Adidaya Nusantara (PT CAN) and PT Trimanunggal Sentosa based in Indonesia.

Sustainable Sourcing

We secure PKS through a robust network and database of Palm Oil Mills (POMs), ensuring supply continuity and traceability, backed by our GGL (Green Gold Label) First Collector Certificate.

Quality Processing & Control

We utilize our Full Concrete Stockpile (7,500 m²) to prevent cargo contamination. We then employ Standardized Screening Machines to rigorously clean the PKS, removing hazardous contaminants (rock, fiber, iron) to meet the demanding specifications of end-user power plants.

Efficient Logistics & Export

We manage the entire logistics chain, including inland transportation, terminal handling, and efficient Ship-to-Ship (STS) transshipment operations using our dedicated heavy equipment, ensuring smooth, timely, and high-volume vessel loading for export to destinations like Japan.

Our Facilities

Facilities Designed to Meet Global Biomass industry

Contamination-Free Concrete Stockpile

100% CONCRETE
STOCKPILE

We operate a 7,500 m2 Full Concrete Stockpile with a capacity of 25,000 MT. This absolute barrier prevents soil and rock contamination, which is critical for fuel specification compliance. Our full-concrete facility, with a total capacity of approximately 25,000 MT, is strictly partitioned to implement a Zero CrossContamination Protocol. This strategic segregation demonstrates our rigorous commitment to maintaining cargo integrity

15,000 MT Capacity

Screened Cargo Zone
with Approximately 15,000 MT Capacity

This area is exclusively designated for PKS that has already completed the cleaning and screening process. The material stored here is considered final-product and is ready for final quality testing or immediate vessel loading.

10,000 MT Capacity

Raw Cargo Zone
with Approximately 10,000 MT Capacity

This zone is dedicated solely to newly arrived PKS directly from the Palm Oil Mills (POMs) that has not yet been screened. Equipped with 40MT/hour Screening Machine capacity.

Work Scheme

Integrated PKS
Supply Chain Work Scheme

This work scheme outlines EBB’s PKS supply flow from certified palm oil mills in Central Borneo to export-ready mother vessels. PKS is transported to controlled stockpiles, delivered efficiently to the port, transferred by barges, and finally loaded via ship-to-ship operations, ensuring stable supply, operational efficiency, and consistent export execution.

01
Palm Oil Mills (Source Supply)
PKS is sourced from certified palm oil mills located in Central Borneo. The supply network includes RSPO-certified mills, ISCC Japan FIT-certified mills, and GGL-verified mills, providing stable monthly production capacity and compliance with international sustainability standards.
02
Mills to Stockpile & Stockpile Handling
PKS is transported from mills to stockpile facilities within a distance range of 60–150 kilometers. Daily transportation capacity reaches up to 800 metric tons using a combination of 27 dump trucks with 8–9 MT capacity, 4 dump trucks with 18–20 MT capacity, and additional rental trucks when required. The stockpile functions as a controlled buffer for volume consolidation and handling.
03
Barge Transportation
From the stockpile, PKS is delivered to the port over a distance of approximately 6.8 kilometers. Up to 10,500 metric tons can be completed within three days and loaded onto two 275-foot barges, enabling efficient bulk transfer from inland logistics to offshore operations.
04
Mother Vessel Loading
At the anchorage point, PKS is transferred from barges to the mother vessel through ship-to-ship operations. The transfer from jetty to anchorage takes approximately nine hours, while the transshipment process requires around four days with two loaders provided per crane. For urgent schedules, PKS can be transferred simultaneously from two barges to the mother vessel.
